Plastic free
Success criteria: I would like the answer of how many plastic bags are made a day.
I would like New Zealand to be plastic free or just Gisborne.
I liked how we all got together as a class and talked about what we could do to have an plastic free school and city. I said that we could tell all the shops that plastic is band ,and if we see them using plastic they would me in trubill.
Introduction /Learning intention:How not to use plastic bags or other plastic stuff because every time you get a plastic bag you might be killing a animal.

Dear Mrs.Thatcher-Swann
Hi my name is Charlie Ireland I am 8 years old and I am from Makauri school.Our school is an enviro school.I am on the enviro council.
I am angry that all our rubbish is going into the skip bin and it is going to landfill.
Firstly we are doing nude food to try and eliminate plastic and rubbish from our school. We are disappointed and confused because every friday the recycling truck goes right past our school but it does not pick up our recycling. Secondly We have to pay $556 a month to have our skip bin emptied. We could be using that money for buying school equipment.
It’s bad for the country too because all of the rubbish is going to fill up a landfill somewhere.
Would it be possible to have more bins to recycle and request that you pick up our recycling as well.

Profile
Hi my name is Charlie. I have a little sister and a big brother. I go to a cool school called Makauri. I live in New Zealand in Gisborne which is a small city.
I love ballet. It's my favourite thing to do. I struggle a bit on spelling but I will get better soon,My mother and Dad say that if you follow your heart and dreams come true in my dream Is to be a real Russian ballet dancer even though I don't know how to speak Russian I still loved everyone it's my dream and I hope and my favourite thing to do. My girls at school this year to be better at my spelling And at belly my aim is to just be good and try and get first I love Bella and I love my family very much.
This year I'm looking forward to Dying my hair pink, after my ballet comp And also having a great time and enjoying my friends parties,and spending time with my new puppy that we are about to gets,we still dont have a name. I have my own dance studio at practice twice a day once before then and it's about 15 minutes of practice and once after then it's about half an hour of practice at practice all my dances I have a classical a barefoot and national ID me sometimes you do and,sometimes a group and impromptu.
